Windows backup fails with Out of Memory Error Print



Problem:   

 
Windows backup job fails with the following errors:

​Appending to backup: delivery_logs
DEBUG: cmd is: "d:/Program Files/Signiant/Mobilize/3rdParty/jdk/bin/jar" -uMf "
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

Resolution:


The issue is that there are too many delivery logs to append to the backup.
 
To correct the issue:
 
Make sure that D:\Program Files\Signiant\Mobilize\backup is empty
Go into D:\Program Files\Signiant\Mobilize\log\delivery_logs and move everything older than say 2 months to a new folder D:\Program Files\Signiant\Mobilize\log\tmp_delivery_logs
Run the backup
